Introduction

This module teaches no new technique. It puts the course back together as one method, names the responsibilities that run through all of it, and prepares you for the Final Assessment.

Nine modules can leave a learner with nine separate business habits and no sense of how they connect. The connection is what transfers to a decision the course never described — and business decisions are almost always ones nobody described in advance.

The course as one method

Nine modules, one sequence.

Four responsibilities that never move

The business decides what is worth doing → it stays accountable for what goes out in its name → it protects the information it holds → it remains answerable to customers, staff and regulators.

Every failure this course describes is one of the four being skipped. The second is skipped most often in customer-facing work, and the third most often when a task felt routine.

What the Final Assessment is

A separate, scored step — not a checkpoint, and not an eleventh module.

Scenario-based throughout: business situations, and which part of the method applies, what went wrong, or what a responsible decision-maker does next.

The question bank, the number of questions per attempt, the pass threshold and the retake policy are decided in a separate governed slice and are deliberately not set here.

Practical exercise

Read the nine-step method and mark the step you are least confident about. Re-read that module's boundary section, which states what it teaches and what it defers.

Take one real business decision you have coming up and walk it through all nine steps, one line each. Notice where you hesitated — that is more informative than the eight steps that were easy.

Return to your Module 9 plan and fix the field your walkthrough exposed.

The learner produces: a marked weakest step, a nine-step walkthrough of one real business decision, and one corrected field in their improvement plan. Expected outcome: the learner can name which part of the method any new business situation belongs to — which is what the Final Assessment measures.

Course review
