Prompt & Context Engineering™

Learn to communicate with AI clearly and give it the right context to get useful, reliable results — with human judgment leading.

A person reworking a short, vague request into a fuller written brief — adding the task, the context that matters, who it is for, and the form the answer should take — then revising it again after reading the result that came back.

What you'll learn

  • Write clear prompts (instructions, roles, examples)
  • Provide good context, and understand why context improves results
  • Recognize and fix weak prompts; iterate toward better output
  • Understand retrieval conceptually, and when context should come from approved sources
  • Practice prompt safety and privacy

Modules

  1. Module 1~30 minutes

    Prompting Fundamentals

A useful prompt is a brief, not a question — and the first reply is information for your next prompt, not a verdict.

    Open Module 1
  2. Module 2~35 minutes

    Roles, Instructions & Examples

Module 1 named the parts once. This module teaches three of them properly — the role you set, the instruction that names the work, and the examples that show what good looks like.

    Open Module 2
  3. Module 3~35 minutes

Context Design & Why It Matters

Better prompting is not only about asking better — it is also about supplying the right information, and knowing what not to share.

    Open Module 3
  4. Module 4~35 minutes

    Reusable Prompt Patterns

A reusable pattern is not a magic prompt — it is a repeatable structure with parts that stay stable and parts you deliberately change.

    Open Module 4
  5. Module 5~35 minutes

    Evaluating & Iterating Prompts

How to tell whether a result is actually good enough, what exactly to change when it is not — and when the prompt was never the problem.

    Open Module 5
  6. Module 6~35 minutes

Context & Retrieval Basics (RAG, conceptual)

What happens when a system finds the material for you — why retrieval exists, and why retrieved still does not mean true.

    Open Module 6
  7. Module 7~38 minutes

Prompt Safety, Privacy & Injection Awareness

What to share and what to keep back — and why text that arrives in a conversation is material to work on, never an instruction with authority.

    Open Module 7
  8. Module 8~35 minutes

    Multilingual Prompting

Language, audience and local convention are context you state deliberately — and fluency arrives long before accuracy.

    Open Module 8
  9. Module 9~55 minutes

Applied Capstone: Build a Reusable Prompt Pack

Three reusable patterns you would genuinely use, documented well enough that a future you could pick one up and apply it correctly.

    Open Module 9
  10. Module 10~25 minutes

    Course Review & Final Assessment

Ten lessons become one method — and the Final Assessment is where the judgment is shown to be yours.

    Open Module 10
Separate scored step

Final Assessment

A 20-question governed quiz, scored separately from the module checkpoints. You need 75% to pass, and retakes are unlimited. Completing this course also requires a Human + AI Structured Practical and a separate 6-line Action Plan. Passing the quiz is evidence only — on its own it neither completes this course nor issues a certificate.
